Different Modes of Online Learning

Self paced learning

Self-paced lessons and courses are the first form of online teaching. Tutors record every lesson in advance and give it to the learners through different platforms and online channels. Whenever the learners want they can watch these video lessons and study them. They possess the capability to watch the lesson multiple times or to stop them at anytime.

Live online tutoring

Live online tutoring is the second form. Thanks to more advanced technologies that we have today, live online teaching takes online education to the next level. “Live online tutoring is the process of tutoring in an online environment, with teacher and student interacting in real-time without necessarily being in the same place” as said by Wikipedia.

As its name suggests, with live online tutoring everything happens in real time. Students and teachers share the same learning space (the Virtual Classroom) at the same time, even if they are physically apart from each other. Live online teaching has a lot of benefits of in-person tutoring in a conventional classroom.
